Established in 2023, Milltown Tex Mex & Grill is built on one thing: authenticity.

Owner Gilberto migrated to the United States in 1993 from Oaxaca, Mexico, carrying with him the traditions, flavors, and recipes he grew up with. After years of working in restaurants and building his experience, he turned his vision into reality — opening his own place in New Jersey to share that culture through food.

The menu reflects that mission. From the heart of Oaxaca, dishes like mole, enchiladas, and tlayudas are prepared with care and respect for tradition. Every plate is made with high-quality ingredients and rooted in the kind of cooking that's meant to be shared and remembered.

Milltown Tex Mex & Grill is not trying to follow trends or fit into categories — it's simply an authentic Mexican restaurant. Alongside its traditional dishes, it also offers Mexican breakfast and classic American breakfast options, making it a spot people can come back to any time of day.

More than anything, this restaurant is personal. It's Gilberto's journey, his culture, and his pride — brought to life through food, family, and consistency.
